How has being a Physics graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"A good physics degree gives you the intuition you need to understand how the pieces in the world, both big and small, interact. This intuition is learned. Having a physicist's training will help you see the broader picture more easily and move translatationally more quickly in other disciplines."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Physics programs?

"Your instructors know so much more than what they teach in class. If you like what you're learning, find out more about what else they know."
