How has being a Physics graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"The math and analytical problem solving skills I obtained from obtaining a physics degree were very valuable in my PhD studies in finance. Perhaps most important was mental fortitude obtained from solving very difficult problems."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Physics programs?

"Stick with it if you are passionate about physics. It was one of the hardest things I have done in my life, but also one of my most personally satisfying achievements."
